    The first animal shelter I called was Greener Pastures Rescue, to report a concern about a neighbors' dog that was tied up in the heat. But this so called "animal shelter" did not pick up nor did they have a voice mailbox set up! So, I then called Preston Animal Control, in hopes they could at least check out the situation and do something about it... They didn't pick up, instead, I had to leave a message. I left the address and everything, but I don't even think they came to check. I wonder if they even check their messages- Either way, it was a concern that had to be dealt with, but it seemed as if everyone ignored it. Gosh, in today's society, I don't think there's much hope for an animal's safety.
